Privacy Statement

The personal information we hold and process is provided directly by you for one of the following reasons: (a) you have requested to be informed about the Great Massingham Neighbourhood Development Plan (GMNDP) and provided your name and contact details for this purpose or (b) you have responded to one or more surveys of views and opinions in connection with the preparation of the GMNDP.

We use the information you give us either to supply you with information about the GMNDP or to compile the evidence needed to prepare a neighbourhood development plan that is representative of the views of Great Massingham residents and other stakeholders. These activities are conducted by the Steering Group on behalf of Great Massingham Parish Council which is the ‘qualifying body’ authorised by The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk to take responsibility for the GMNDP.

We may also share some of the information you provide with professional data processing organisations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing and storing this information securely. Your information is stored on password-protected storage systems overseen by the Chair of the GMNDP Steering Group or other formally designated member of the Group. We will dispose of the information you have supplied about you once the GMNDP has been formally adopted by referendum and comes into force as part of the development plan for the area alongside the local plan.

As a data subject you have rights. These include: right of access to your own personal data, right of correction, erasure and to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner (the ICO) (https://ico.org.uk/your-data-matters/).
