Monday 6th October – Have your say on the Development Boundary

Please come along to the ‘Community Conversation’ in the Village Hall on 6th October at 6.00pm to discuss possible changes to the existing Development Boundary with a view to increasing opportunities for infill house building. A development boundary is a line/lines on a village map which reflect its built form and is used to aid planning decisions. In general, there is a presumption in favour of development within the boundary compared to outside, thereby helping to protect the surrounding countryside. The present Development Boundary is shown on the map below.
The Development Boundary may be revised within the Neighbourhood Development Plan. If you are interested in how the village housing stock may expand in the future and where it might best take place you are strongly encouraged to attend, listen to the Steering Group’s thinking on this matter and express your own point of view.
We  look forward to seeing you there.
